sestriere 2002

The Alternative Holidays winter holiday for 2002 was in the Italian alps at Sestriere. The resort is on the Via Lattea (Milky Way) lift system. Here is a selection of the photos I took, and you can click on each one to see a larger version.

The biggest event of the week was again the fancy dress night. The theme was 'White' and the event was titled 'The Snow Ball'. There was some debate beforehand whether this theme would be as inspirational as that of past years. At the end of the night everyone seemed to agree that it worked - judge for yourselves:

Don't you point that thing at me! I'm pure and innocent I am. Like everyone from Finland.	Cocktail anyone?	Tony shows us how a real White Party does it.
Bad photo - but someone should have told the bride that one's knees should never be separated by more than 6".	White feathers were very popular. That's David on the right - but I'm affraid I didn't get the names of the other two guys.	Of course, as the evening went on there was less white and more flesh - but no-one was complaining about that.
